I’ve come across a really great article from CBR.
‘Last week we began our weekly chat with two of the members of the “Heroes” writing staff, Joe Pokaski and Aron Coleite. Each week that there’s a new episode of the series, CBR News will ask the guys the tough questions to try and learn more about the many mysteries that we’re faced with each week on “Heroes.” Who’s the guy with Claire’s father that can apparently wipe people’s minds? What’s the deal with Future Hiro? How does Peter Petrelli’s powers work? We ask all that, plus much more as we head into week six of “Heroes.”‘

Check out Claire’s Myspace!
Check out Zach’s Myspace!
Two of our favourite characters have a myspace!
Claire Bennet and her good friend Zach both have a Myspace. There are a couple of interesting blog entries.
If you look at Claire’s pictures, the symbol on her sweater is different to the other symbol. One has a trojan on it the other has a wildcat on it.
Zach says his Hero is someone he likes to call ‘Little Miss Miracle Grow.’ They are both Number 1 on each others lists.
I do not think there are any other Myspace pages for any other characters in the show, so any other ones you may find will probably be fan pages.
The Heroes Chronicles does not have a myspace page at the minute, although this may change if there is a lot of demand for one.

NBC has been forced to edit the pilot of Heroes, because of a Lawsuit that was filed against them.
Emerson, a garbage disposal manufacturer company, has filed a lawsuit against NBC to protect one of their products, The ‘In-Sink-Erator’.
The scene where the product was visible is the scene where Claire, the Cheerleader, gets her hand caught in the Garbage Disposal system. The come out as ‘bloody stumps but completely heal themselves in a few seconds.’
The episode will repeat with the scene removed, to avoid a possible lawsuit against NBC.
Personally, I think this is a slightly trivial argument. It in no-way defames the Emerson product, and this just creates anger in the Heroes Fan community.

TV Guide has released a 4 minute long Heroes preview trailer. Before I could not watch it but I was able to when I tried again, and honestly it is quite an amazing preview.
I can’t get a direct link at the moment, TV Guide uses a flash player which cannot be embedded so I am afraid I will have to give you the link.
You might have to search around for it. It won’t be there for long, so go quickly!

Here are some promo pictures for episode 9 of season 1 entitled ‘Homecoming’
It looks like Peter may be the one in Isaacs paintings that Claire is running from, although this doesn’t mean that he is necessarily bad.

A friend of mine, Damien has found a very interesting piece of information on Masi Oka, who plays Hiro in the show. It’s an article on him from his College website.

Masi worked with Laura Dorfman and Steve Lovett on interactive course materials for Banchoff’s on-line courses. In addition to his mathematical involments, Masi was interested in the theater arts:
“A new alumni group, the Brown University Entertainment Group (BUEG), has formed in the Los Angeles area. Masi Oka ‘97 is spearheading it, trying to get a professional and social network going. One of BUEG’s goals is to provide guidance to recent graduates moving to Southern California who are interested in careers in the entertainment industry.”

Currently playing the role of “Franklin” on the NBC comedy series, “Scrubs.”
Really interesting article, he looks really different in his picture too.
