Petrelli Brothers

I found this article on MSN and thought I would share it with you because it involves 2 of the important characters from Heroes…

Adrian Pasdar and Milo Ventimiglia put their heads together. They align their profiles to point out how much alike they look. Not surprisingly, they play brothers in the new NBC hit series, “Heroes,” which airs Mondays at 9 p.m.

“Eyes, nose,” they exclaim, their words bouncing into each other’s.

“Look at these two eyes,” Pasdar gestures.

“The color thing, and everything,” says Ventimiglia, as, side by side, they widen their eyes.

“Exactly the same color,” affirms Pasdar.

“Like build and body,” Ventimiglia continues.

“It’s all right there,” interjects Pasdar.

Pasdar is the older sibling, Nathan Petrelli, an ambitious overachiever running for political office. Ventimiglia is Peter Petrelli, a male nurse, who is something of a dreamer.

All the main characters in this fantasy drama are ordinary people with extraordinary talents. Both Petrelli brothers can fly — something Nathan’s not too keen on voters finding out about.

Hayden Panettiere

Over at Newsday they conducted an interview with Hayden Panettiere about her role on Heroes and her role in the recent movie The Architect which starred Anthony LaPaglia (Without a Trace)….

Is it a raucous set, with all the young actors? Are you playing pranks on one another?

I was talking to Milo about this the other day. We’re so - we have so much work to do that it’s been a little bit - we’re careful how much we fool around. The set is fun,

and I love the crew. When we’re all together, we have the greatest time. Unfortunately, we’re not together all that much, because of the way the scenes are written.

Where are you living these days?

I grew up in Rockland County. We just made the move to L.A., my parents and younger brother.

What’s that like, going from East Coast to West?

I love the sun - that’s the great thing about L.A. But what I miss the most about New York is having my friends so close, right down the street, and not miles and miles away.

Well, no doubt all those friends from home are pleased to see all the success you’ve had in TV, film … and now music. I understand you’ve got a debut CD that drops in February.

I’m really looking forward to that. I’ve been singing since I was little. Did jingles and a lot of voice work when I was younger. It’s been a long time in the making - I’ve been working on this album for a while.

What kind of music is it?

Well, I find it hard to categorize songs. It’s a mixture - probably pop rock. I co-wrote all the songs. It’s been a blast. I’m used to portraying people other than myself. Now it’s … it’s like giving people a little taste of me.
