Jesselyn Gilsig

It’s Tuesday night, have some Heroes spoilers. There’s no more Heroes until January, so you’re just going to have to make do with a few spoilers to keep your Heroes brains busy. Jump to read them. Courtesy of Kristin.

From Noemi: Heroes is the best thing ever in prime-time TV! Any new gossip on the next season? What happened to Sylar

Forget Sylar! I scored some exclusive, kick-ass casting scoop! Wheee! Sources close to Heroes tell me that Jessalyn Gilsig (Nip/Tuck, Boston Public) has been cast as a pivotal character directly connected to one of the Heroes we already know and love. If you put on your super-sleuthing thinking caps, I bet you’ll figure this one out all on your own. (And pssst…just in case your cap isn’t working, I’ll reveal Jessalyn’s character to you in the spoiler section. Shhh!)

From Bill: Hi, Kristin. I came across this post on afterelton.com and thought that you’d find it interesting. It’s about how NBC and everyone are now taking a stance that Zach on Heroes is not gay

Yes, many of you have asked me about this. I have it on good authority that Zach was most definitely supposed to be gay when the series began, and we did see shades of that in earlier episodes, such as when he’s teased for getting an erection in the locker room, and when he asks Claire if she’s planning to “come out” to her parents. Obviously, that plan has changed. I can’t tell you why, but I can tell you that originally, Zach would not have been making googly eyes at Claire.

Richard Hendricks informed us that she will be playing Claire’s biological mother, and I also hear that she will have a power of her own.

It’s odd about that Zach thing, maybe they wanted to change his character or something.
